Any Moms Who Have Had or Will Have a Tummy Tuck?

I have 3 children and will not be having anymore. I was not one of those lucky women who had babies and still had a flat, stretch mark free belly. I was wondering if any of you have had a tummy tuck or plan to have one? I have a hard time finding things that fit me right because my belly is so gross. No amount of sit-ups will put my skin back where it used to be. I’m a little afraid of surgery thinking something could go wrong and my children would be left without a mother just because I didn’t like my flabby belly. But, it seems like so many people do it, I know of 3. It just worries me.So is it worth it? What are your thoughts on the matter? Thanks!
JustMe~ You’re wrong, sit ups don’t always work. I’ve done my share believe me. My belly is flatter from sit ups, it’s my SKIN that is stretched, sit ups don’t make skin go back.

I am getting abdominoplasy and it I think it’s a really good move for me. After having five children (including a set of twins)my skin is stretched beyond repair. My only option is surgery. Do your research find a board certified plastic surgeon(very important) and discuss it with them . Do whats right for you. The girl above me does’nt know what she’s talking about- no amount of exercise tightens loose skin!

The only thing I noticed when I was looking into it is the scar…I don’t know if I want a long scar running across my panty line. And of course, it doesn’t do anything for your stretch marks.

I know your pain. I worked out, got down to a size 1, and STILL had that loose skin flap. It sucked. But, seeing as how I am now due in Oct, I guess it is a good thing I didn’t do it.

I’m curious to see the answers of those that did.

You are wrong! Sit ups will work in time. You have to keep up on them, and watch what you eat. You are looking for a quick fix! Do you really want to be in debt?? Just get some exercise. :)
